Curb Your Enthusiasm Returning for Eighth Season
HBO has renewed Curb Your Enthusiasm for another year. Season 8 of the series will debut sometime in 2011 for the standard 10 episodes. Curb is already the longest running series in HBO history having delivered 70 episodes to date. Season 7 was well regarded by critics and fans with one of the main storylines serving to reunite the Seinfeld crew.
There was no question that HBO would approve of another season when the time came to make a decision, it has just been a matter of whether creator...
Review: The Losers
The Losers is based off a comic, but make no mistake, this is no Kick-Ass. Carrying a PG-13 rating the action is more centered on the usual explosions and gun fights and the language is tempered. Most notably the movie just breezes through with little in the way of actual conflict or concern. The Losers is the definition of underwhelming. It takes no chances, goes down a predictable path, and is completely forgettable.

Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the future of MGM and the failure to close a ...

Kick-Ass Narrowly Wins at the Box Office
Kick-Ass was able to scrape by How to Train Your Dragon for the top spot at the box office this weekend. The comic book adaptation pulled in just under $20 million, beating out Dragon by just $200K. That movie continues to drop at an extraordinarily low rate as word of mouth has carried it well since release. Kick-Ass hopes for similar results in coming weeks.
The internal multiplier (Friday vs the weekend total) for Kick-Ass was 2.64 which is encouraging for a movie of this nature and show...
‘Mighty Mouse’ Reboot In The Works
The La Times' 24 Frames Blog is reporting that Paramount is working on releasing a reboot to the popular cartoon Might Mouse.
The project, based on the vintage cartoon about a crime-fighting super-mouse (which will surely get a modern spin) has been in development for several years at Paramount and its Nickelodeon Movies label. A number of writers have taken stabs at a script over that time, including the Gunn brothers (Brian and Mark), who also count the "Journey to the Center of Earth" se...
