Les Grossman Movie in the Works
When Tom Cruise brought back his Les Grossman character for the MTV Movie Awards this past weekend it prompted many to wonder what the motivation was to do so. The character, introduced nearly two years ago in Tropic Thunder, stole that movie and apparently did the same at the MTV Movie Awards. Still what was the relevancy that prompted him to bring that character back out now?
It looks as though Cruise is working on a movie based on the character which he confirmed to E Online. This would ...
New on DVD: Week of June 7
This is a pretty solid week for releases. The two big names releasing are Shutter Island and From Paris With Love. Shutter Island received a 'fresh rating' on Rottentomatoes.com. I thought the movie started out a bit slow, but eventually picked up. Even though From Paris With Love didn't score so well, I still enjoyed the movie. It's definitely worth a rental. Here is the full release schedule broken up by standard DVD and Blu-ray:

The four new openers really didn't even provide much of a challenge. The box office crown will finally change hands next week though with the release of The A-Team and The Karate Kid.
The strongest openers were Get Him to the Greek and Killers with $17.4 million and $16.1 million respectively. Greek came in right a...

ThunderCats Reboot Coming to Cartoon Network
Warner Brothers has announced they have begun production on a 21st century re-imagination of the 1980s classic ThunderCats for the Cartoon Network. They also released the first teaser image which definitely suggests there will be a darker tone. No word yet on when the show could make its debut. I grew up watching ThunderCats, and though it wasn't my favorite show at the time I'll definitely be interested to see what they do with it now.
The new “ThunderCats” will appeal to viewers...
‘The Joker’ Will Not Be In Batman 3
Since the release of The Dark Knight nearly two years ago, there has been plenty of speculation and rumors concerning the villains for the next 'Batman' film. What happens with 'The Joker' after The Dark Knight ends is left open and nobody is really sure. We know he doesn't die, so we were left to believe he'd make an appearance in the third film. The speculation can now stop since Christopher Nolan has told Empire Magazine that he will not be in the next 'Batman'. Obsessedwithfilm.com has th...
