A trailer has arrived for the upcoming release of Death Race 2. Wait...there is going to be a sequel to Death Race? Turns out it is actually a prequel despite the what the title suggests. Also it is going straight to DVD. There will be no Jason Statham but it actually carries some relatively decent names for a straight to DVD film. The cast includes Ving Rhames, Danny Trejo, and Sean Bean. Death Race 2 takes place in the very near future, as the United States economy begins to decline and ...

The rumors continue as to potential villains that could be involved in the upcoming final film in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy. The latest involves a character that would be less familiar to audiences who haven't followed the comics (or played the Arkham Asylum video game from last year) and has yet to be touched upon in any Batman films. Killer Croc began in the comics as a powerful man covered in green scales due to a skin condition, which would mesh more with Nolan's grounded take ...

My favorite new comedy of the fall season is the Fox series Raising Hope. It actually has quickly become my favorite comedy on TV behind just Modern Family. The series centers on a young guy that gets stuck with a baby and his somewhat dysfunctional family that helps him out. It sounds generic on the surface but it avoids that completely and has surprised me in many ways. The show just has a sentimental and honest nature to it, somehow remaining just grounded enough despite some outrageous eve...

Transformers: Dark of the Moon is the official title of the upcoming third (and presumably final) film in what director Michael Bay has referred to as the Transformers trilogy. Though there aren't many details on the story for the movie yet we do know that it will have to do with NASA, the space race between the U.S. and Russia, and the motivation behind why the countries were so desperately trying to get to the moon. Amazon also listed three Transformers novels known as "Transformers: The ...

In a surprise announcement Sony confirmed Stone has been cast as the lead female in the film, however she will be playing Gwen Stacy instead. Director Marc Webb: “The chemistry between Andrew and Emma was stunning and made Emma the clear choice. At the heart of the story of Peter Parker is not only the amazing Spider-Man, but also an ordinary teenager who is wond...
