First Week of Guests on Conan
The guests for the debut week of Conan have been announced. There is a poll on who the very first guest should be though it is unclear if there is any seriousness to that. The first trailer for Scream 4 has arrived. The story finds Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) being visited by Ghostface 10 years after the events of the first film. The main characters are back including those played by Courtney Cox and David Arquette. Universal has released the first trailer for the sci-fi comedy Paul. The movie stars Simon Pegg and Nick Frost with the alien Paul voiced by Seth Rogen. NBC Picks Up Additional Episodes of Their Freshman Series
Today NBC announced they have given back nine orders to The Event, Outsourced, and Law & Order: Los Angeles. Chase and Undercovers are rumored to be getting similar pick-ups as well. None of NBC's new shows this season are performing particularly well. Chase and Undercovers are at risk of cancellation so this news comes as somewhat of a surprise. Iron Man 3 Officially Announced
The news broke today that Disney has paid for the marketing and distribution rights to two upcoming Marvel films having acquired them from Paramount. One of them is The Avengers and the other is Iron Man 3 which the studio made official in the press release. Iron Man 3 will release on May 3rd 2013. Jackass 3D Breaks Fall Box Office Record
Soaring past all expectations Jackass 3D turned in the biggest opening weekend for a September or October release in history with $50 million. Industry expectations had pegged the film to make just over $30 million for the weekend but it crushed on Friday alone with $22 million. Jackass 3D certainly benefited by the higher ticket prices that come with 3D but it was more about the extra appeal it provided. RED stands for "Retired and Extremely Dangerous" which is a classification given to only the best spies after they move on from their career. When an attempt to kill Frank Moses (Bruce Willis) fails it sets off a series of events that brings himself, along with some of his old friends, back to bring down a conspiracy. Trailer for Drive Angry 3D
A full theatrical trailer for the Nicolas Cage action film Drive Angry 3D has arrived and follows a teaser that was released coming out of Comic-Con. Cage plays a man who goes on a rampage after the murder of his daughter and kidnapping of her baby.
