Stills taken on the set of the Spider-Man reboot have provided the first opportunity to see Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker. He is seen in the images with the blonde Emma Stone who plays Gwen Stacy. The movie has been filming for a month and is set for July 3rd 2012 release. Garfield was excellent in The Social Network, and I'm a big fan of Marc Webb after 500 Days of Summer, so I have some faith that they are going to pull this off. I'm not a big fan of his out of control hair or finger-less...

Now a full promotional shot of the cast has made its way out and includes Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck, Josh Hutcherson, Isabele Lucas, Adrian...

I've written a few times about just how great Spartacus: Blood and Sand turned out in its first season. After a slow start it quickly became one of my favorite shows, very graphic and unpredictable, and with the balls to have mortality play a big part of the developments even with popular or seemingly important characters. It made for a entertaining ride that culminated in a completely satisfying conclusion. Unfortunately star Andy Whitfield got the news that he needed treatment for non-Hod...
