    Dimension Films has released the first trailer for the "found footage" horror movie Apollo 18. The story is based on the conspiracy theory that there was an 18th manned mission to the moon and what went wrong leading to it being covered up. Apollo 18 is slated to release on April 22nd.     Death Race 2 is not a sequel as the title would suggest but instead is a prequel to 2008 film. Having gone straight-to-DVD expectations are understandably lowered but the films brings in some credible actors with a concept that still works. Unfortunately it doesn't rise above just being better than the typical non-theatrical release.     Marvel has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming comic adaptation Thor. This is the second full trailer for the film which also had a spot air during the Super Bowl. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, and Anthony Hopkins and directed by Kenneth Branagh the story is centered on a powerful but arrogant warrior cast out of Asgard and sent to live amongst humans on Earth. Thor is slated to release on May 6th. ...

    Marvel has found the man to replace Jon Favreau as the director of Iron Man 3. Shane Black is in final negotiations to take over the popular franchise with the possibility that he will pen the script as well. Black is best known for writing the entire Lethal Weapon series and writing/directing Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.     Adrianne Palicki has been cast as Wonder Woman in the upcoming TV series adaptation for NBC. Palicki is best known for her role as Tyra in Friday Night Lights. She was also in last year's short lived TV series Lone Star, the feature film Legion, and stars in the upcoming Red Dawn remake.     Warner Bros has announced that The Dark Knight: App Edition and Inception: App Edition are now available in the app store for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad. The apps offer a limited experience for free with the ability to download the entire films for $9.99 (TDK) and $11.99 (Inception).     Sony has announced that the upcoming reboot of Spider-Man will go by the official title of The Amazing Spider-Man. They have also released a new promo shot of Andrew Garfield in the full costume including the mask for the first time. The Amazing Spider-Man has been filming since early December and is headed towards release on July 3rd 2012.
