The Adjustment Bureau isn't a movie that is easily described or fits neatly into a genre. Loosely based on the Philip K. Dick short story "Adjustment Team" the film examines philosophy, spirituality, science fiction, politics, and romance all tightly bound within the confines of a thriller. Considering all the elements involved it would be easy for the story to run off track and lose the audience. The Adjustment Bureau however is able to deliver in every facet making for a thought-provoking an...

Hall Pass and Drive Angry both severely underperformed at the box office this weekend. Though Hall Pass finished second it came in way under expectations and should have cruised to the top spot. Drive Angry 3D didn't just disappoint it bombed. In its third weekend Gnomeo and Juliet came in #1 for the first time. Overall it was one of the weakest numbers for a top film in years. The Farrelly brothers being attached to a film just doesn't have any pull these days. They haven't had a number on...

Earlier today TBS announced that they have decided against renewing Glory Daze for a second season. The hour-long comedy series pulled in respectable ratings for the network which makes the cancellation news somewhat surprising. The show debuted with a 1.0 in the critical 18-49 demo and tailed off by the finale to a .6 which for TBS still is a decent number. The show also was supported with relatively strong DVR numbers but apparently it wasn't enough. I started watching Glory Daze as it be...
