Daredevil Getting a Reboot
It's all the rage lately with comic book movies to launch a reboot and attempt to establish (or re-establish) a franchise. The latest comes from Fox with Daredevil. Universal has revealed that the next in the line of Fast and Furious movies will be known as Fast Five. This will be the fifth in the franchise and will include stars Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. Director Joe Johnston has revealed quite a few details on the upcoming The First Avenger: Captain America. International Red Band Trailer for Kick-Ass
As the release of Kick-Ass grows nearer the question still remains how it will be marketed. Based on the comic book about regular people with no powers acting as superheroes it has become one of the most buzzed about movies on the horizon. Reaction to the Oscar Nominations
For the most part the nominations for the 82nd Academy Awards went as expected. The acting categories are almost all considered to be locks for one winner with the other nominees mostly the same as earlier award shows. With the Best Picture category expanding to 10 films it would be hard to complain about ones that didn't make the cut. There are quite a bit of movies releasing this week. The big name hitting stores is Zombieland. The comedy was well received by critics, scoring an 89% on Rottentomatoes.com.
