    Yahoo! has posted an exclusive clip from Warner Bros' Clash Of The Titans. In the clip 'Calibos' attacks 'Perseus', played by Sam Worthington. From the footage I've seen so far, I would imagine this movie is going to look pretty good in 3D. If you've missed any of the other of the previous 'Titans' clips you can find them here.   • New Superman and Batman Films Will Be Released In 3D

    Warner Brothers announced at ShoWest yesterday that all of the studio's tentpole movies from now on will be released in 3D. That includes all superhero films or any big budget special effects driven films. WB will be releasing five 3D movies this year and are expected to have nine next year. It was made clear that the 3D initiative would include those in the line of DC Comics, which means the Superman reboot and next Batman film will be released in 3D.     Alice in Wonderland held off four new entries last week and this time around it should be able to easily win again. Three new movies hit theaters and none are real threats for the top spot. The NCAA Tournament could also eat into potential grosses this weekend. (more…)...
  • Trailer for Predators

    Last week a sneak peak video for Predators made its way out and now the official trailer for the movie has been unveiled. Starring Adrian Brody, Topher Grace, and Laurence Fishburne and directed by Nimrod Antal (Armored, Vacancy) the story finds a group of elite warriors kidnapped and dropped on an alien planet as part of a game where they are being hunted.   • Jamie Foxx Joins Kane and Lynch

    News has surfaced that Jamie Foxx is set to star alongside Bruce Willis in the adaptation of the video game series Kane and Lynch. The film is being directed by first timer Simon Crane, who has primarily worked on stunts in the past though he has a good deal of experience as an assistant director as well. Willis and Fox will play a pair of inmates who escape prison and team up to retrieve a stolen fortune. The movie is set to release sometime in 2011....

    Three new movies took the top slots in DVD sales. Disney's Old Dogs topped the list of a week of solid DVD releases. 2012 fell to fourth in sales, but still managed to take the top spot in rentals.     If you grew up in the 80s like I did, you might remember a horror film called Fright Night. It was announced last year that a remake to the classic 80s comedy/horror was in the works.   • Avatar Hitting DVD and Blu-ray on April 22

    Fox today announced its plans for Avatar's release on DVD and Blu-ray and they are somewhat unconventional, though with James Cameron and the biggest movie of all-time involved that shouldn't come as a big surprise. The initial release will come on April 22nd, not coincidentally that is Earth Day. As opposed to the standard Tuesday releases this places Avatar to arrive in stores on a Thursday.
