Fox has released the first trailer for the adaptation of the comic strip Marmaduke. Owen Wilson is in as the voice of Marmaduke. The movie will be another in the line of mixed CGI and live action which has done well at the box office the last few years. Review: Brothers
Originally on my top 10 anticipated films of the holiday season, I never got around to seeing Brothers when it was in theaters. I had high expectations for the movie based on a compelling trailer that contrasted a drama with elements of a thriller. Interestingly the trailer, while it gave away some general themes of the movie, didn't give away as much as I had originally thought. Top DVD Sales and Rentals for Week Ending March 21, 2010
It should come as no surprise that The Twilight Saga: New Moon was the top selling DVD last week. The sequel outsold it's predecessor with 4 million copies in its first weekend alone. Coming in second was Disney's The Princess and the Frog . Theaters Raising 3D Ticket Prices
There has already been much written here about how the studios now pushing forward with more 3D films given the success of Avatar and even more recently Alice in Wonderland. The LA Times has an article today that states theaters are raising ticket prices by about 8% this weekend.
