Yahoo! has posted three new clips from the upcoming The A-Team. The clips are titled Heist, Fondest Memory, and Worried respectively. Heist was by far the best one as it featured the most action. In this particular scene, 'The A-Team' steals a businessman from a high rise building. You can view all three clips by heading over to Yahoo!. The A-Team is slated to release on June 11th. ...
  • Review: Splice

Splice is one of the most difficult movies I've ever attempted to review. Even now as I write this I feel largely conflicted and uncertain of any sort of final verdict other than having found it strangely entertaining. This is not a conventional film to say the least and that I really liked about it. However in the process it takes some turns which are very uncomfortable for the audience. While it is being marketed along the lines of a horror movie I wouldn't describe it as such. It is more of...

Typically I wouldn't find much interest in a PR release of movie stills however in this case the new ones that come from Resident Evil: Afterlife are a little more compelling. They feature a new character from the games  making a debut in the movie series. Chris Redfield, one of the main protagonists from the Resident Evil games, will be played by Wentworth Miller (Prison Break). Resident Evil: Afterlife represents the fourth entry in the franchise after the original Resident Evil (2002...

A few months back the teaser trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs The World hit and to distinctively mixed response. Now the full theatrical trailer has arrived and reaction to it has been more positive. A strong ensemble cast for the film includes Michael Cera, Chris Evans, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anna Kendrick, Brandon Routh, and Jason Schwartzman. Directed by Edgar Wright (Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead)  Scott Pilgrim vs the World is based on the first volume of the graphic novel series and is...

Now it has been confirmed that she has gotten the role. The Victoria's Secret model has no prior acting experience but Michael Bay has successfully launched the careers of newcomers in the past including Fox. You can check out the promo video from Victoria's Secret congratulating Huntington-Whiteley on getting the role in Transformers ...

Deadline is reporting that Paramount and Nickelodeon have brought on Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form to produce the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' reboot. TMNT, a co-production between Paramount and Nickelodeon, is an outgrowth of the $60 million acquisition made by Nick last October for global rights to the entire Turtles franchise. The film will be produced by Bay and the others under their Platinum Dunes banner. Past projects for the company include the Friday the 13th and A Ni...

After a couple of slow weeks for releases, we finally have a decent week. The two big names hitting stores are Alice in Wonderland, and The Wolfman. Neither scored particularly well in reviews even though both were released with quite a bit of hype. Clint Eastwood fans can look forward to two of his collections releasing in hi-def as well. Here is the full release schedule broken up by standard DVD and Blu-ray: (more…)...
  • New Openers Disappoint at Box Office Over Memorial Day Weekend

Two pictures with high expectations debut to relatively flat openings. Sex and the City 2 and Prince of Persia came in below expectations as Shrek Forever After won for a second straight weekend. For the three days Shrek took in $43.3 million, SATC2 $32.1 million, and Prince of Persia $30.2 million. They'll get the benefit of the Monday holiday tacked on as well but for a Memorial Day frame at the box office it was one of the slowest in 15 years. Shrek Forever After fell 39% from last weeke...
