New on DVD: Week of July 19
After a bad week of releases, this week doesn't get much better. Nothing really stands out, except the The Losers. The action film scored a 47% on Rottentomatoes.com, which is a bit surprising to me. Deadline is reporting that Will Smith is working on a new project called The Legend of Cain. Smith will reportedly star in and produce the film. CBS Films has released the first trailer for Faster, an action pic starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Inception Opens Large While Sorcerer’s Apprentice Falters
Inception made $61.4 million this weekend exceeding most expectations. The Christopher Nolan project starring Leonardo DiCaprio (review here) opened at the high end of industry predictions which had pegged it as heading for a $40-60 million weekend.
