    2K Sports today announced the "Uncover the Cover" campaign for NBA 2K13. Clues to who will be on the cover are hidden and later revealed through this Facebook app. Tiles from the current image will be lifted exposing the clues and eventual cover art when certain benchmarks have been reached in the number of tweets posted using the hashtag #uncovernba2k.     The weeks following E3 are generally slow to deliver news as companies settle in following their announcements and showings and prepare for upcoming marketing pushes as respective releases near. That has been the case at this point with pretty much every sports game slated for the fall - but NBA 2K13 is in such position of strength that smaller or even vague details can be mentioned casually that are ultimately worthy of discussion.     2K Sports has released a full description of what to expect with the All-Star Weekend content for NBA 2K13 which will be provided with pre-orders. The info confirms (as expected) that Michael Jordan will be back and presumably so will other legends and classic teams.     The last thing EA Sports needed for NBA Live 13 was increased skepticism and negativity. That's exactly what they got however at E3 as report after report pegged Live as a let down - even ESPN called it the biggest disappointment at the event.  (more…)...

    2K Sports last night debuted some early footage from NBA 2K13. Like last year at E3 the showing focuses primarily on a casual aspect of the game -  2K12 was about PlayStation Move controls and this time around it's the Slam Dunk Contest for the recently announced All-Star Weekend content. There is a brief look at actual gameplay though with the Spurs at Thunder before getting a glimpse at the Dunk Contest which many are describing as having "Guitar Hero" controls and for good reason. 2...

    2K Sports has announced that the first gameplay footage from NBA 2K13 will debut Monday night during the GameTrailers E3 Special on Spike at 10pm.
