NBA Live 13 Apparently May Still Be On Track To Release And Do So At Just $20
According to IRB Gamer, who is reporting out of the Gamestop Expo, NBA Live 13 will be a digital release this October. That it would be a downloadable title doesn't come as a surprise - the recent leaked footage supported that and all other signs before it have pointed that direction. It will probably be a big mistake to re-launch the series in such a manner, but coming in at a $20 price point could lead some to give it more consideration. That is what a a rep apparently told the site to exp...
Allen Iverson Returns in NBA 2K13
As one of the few prominent former stars absent from NBA 2K11 and 2K12 fans have constantly clamored for Allen Iverson to be added to the roster. That makes it a big deal that Iverson will be included in NBA 2K13 as announced today by 2K Sports. With Charles Barkley joining the Dream Team (but no historical teams) that leaves only Reggie Miller in the short list of fan-favorite names that have glaringly been absent from the series.
Iverson was the longtime cover athlete for the NBA 2K ser...
Scottie Pippen Added to Dream Team in NBA 2K13 – Full Team Now Intact
When 2K Sports announced the inclusion of the 1992 Dream Team for NBA 2K13 it was the single missing player that dominated discussion rather than the other 11. Instead of excitement over finally having Charles Barkley focus immediately turned to the holdout - Scottie Pippen - and it considerably dampened enthusiasm. Today though the company has announced that Pippen is being added making the team complete.
Pressure since the announcement has led one of the parties, or possibly both, to...

NBA 2K13 Achievements Reveal New Features
The list of Xbox 360 achievements for NBA 2K13 has made its way out and in doing so has revealed a few new features for the game.
My Player mode looks to be getting a change in name to "MyCareer", historic teams are to be playable online (last year that was only possible with the DLC), "Blacktop" mode is also going online, and a "Today Association" could be like what was attempted (but never actually worked) with MLB 2K12. Most notably though is the "Play a MyTeam Game Online" achievement...
Recent NBA 2K13 News Succeeds in Ramping Up Anticipation Levels
It's been a rush of news on NBA 2K13 in recent weeks. A partnership with Jay-Z coming on as executive producer kicked it all off but that was followed by important gameplay improvements and the reveal of the Dream Team. After collecting over 8K votes through recent polls it's clear that NBA 2K13 is looking stronger than ever after hitting on multiple levels with the recent announcements. (more…)...
NBA Live 13 Appears To Be Digital Release – Should It End Up Releasing At All
The leaked gameplay footage of NBA Live 13 has given even more credence to the idea that it could end up being a digital download rather than retail release. Everything continues to point towards that as the strategy EA Sports is going with - or was planning to anyway - even if it would be yet another major mistake on their part. (more…)...
