  • NBA 2K13 Week Two Roster Update: Mike D’Antoni Added But Still Missing 25 Players

Two weeks now into the NBA season and 2K Sports has still failed to provide an accurate roster for NBA 2K13. In the latest update released today two players (P.J. Tucker and Alan Anderson) were added to the game. 25 players remain missing now. The Bobcats-Hornets swap of Matt Carroll for Hakim Warrick has been completed. In truly random fashion only one player had ratings adjusted as Landry Fields dropped by a single point. Seemingly no rhyme or reason to that - nothing was done for the g...

With only a matter of days until release 2K Sports has rolled out a developer video going over the Wii U version of NBA 2K13. The game will feature expected modes like MyCareer and MyTeam along with historic teams and the Dream Team. Check out the full features list here. The video mentions that most of the features from the others versions are included, and shows off the Wii U tablet controller features such as the "Gatorade Biometric Scan" and MyPlayer analysis in MyCareer mode available w...
  • First Regular Season Roster Update for NBA 2K13 Available Now

    Posted November 10th, 2012 at 11:45 am 75 Comments »
The latest roster update for NBA 2K13 released early this morning representing the first to arrive since the season began. Unfortunately, as many have come to expect now, the update is severely deficient as only 3 of the 30 missing players have been added. Alexey Shved (60), Pablo Prigioni (63), and Mirza Teletovic (64) are the new additions though having been saddled with generic faces. It's unclear why it has been such a struggle for 2K Sports to provide accurate rosters and the consumer f...
  • NBA 2K13 Tops October in Sales

In what comes as absolutely no surprise NBA 2K13 carried the month of October by topping the sales charts with no other game even close behind. NBA 2K12 was adversely affected by the lockout as sales fell off significantly until the league returned so the proper comparison to make is with 2K11 which opened by moving just over 1 million copies its first month.  (more…)...
  • NBA 2K13 Updates Blazers Court and MyTeam Mode; Roster Update Coming Soon

The Portland Trail Blazers court, which had been wrong since NBA 2K12, has been updated for NBA 2K13. They join the Lakers, Cavs, Nets, Grizzlies, Clippers, Spurs, Bobcats, Thunder, and Suns who have received new courts or more subtle adjustments in post-release updates. Additional players are now being distributed within MyTeam mode and a roster update is scheduled to arrive by Saturday morning. Hopefully it will add in the nearly 30 missing players, fix other issues found throughout the...
  • NBA 2K13 Week One Upcoming Roster Update Discussion

The first week of the season is now complete with teams having turned in two to four games in that span. NBA 2K13 is still missing a large number of players and has other errors to fix in the next roster update but some representation of how individuals are performing in these early stages should be expected as well. James Harden has certainly earned an upgrade as have rookies Damian Lillard and Dion Waiters. Darren Collison, Jamal Crawford, Brandon Jennings, and Anderson Varejao have als...
  • NBA 2K13 Adds Daily Pick’em for VC
    by
    Posted November 2nd, 2012 at 10:15 am 16 Comments »
The system of currency known as VC throughout NBA 2K13 is widely perceived to be the worst aspect of the game this year as it afflicts every mode and alters the way an individual might typically choose to play. There is no getting around that though so it's worth looking at the ways to supplement VC earnings and so far they have included the Facebook and mobile extensions that tie into MyCareer and MyTeam. Now with the start of the season comes an additional way to earn some extra VC. ...
  • Another Roster Update for NBA 2K13; Issues Remain Including Lots of Missing Players
    by
    Posted November 1st, 2012 at 6:45 pm 37 Comments »
Another roster update released earlier today for NBA 2K13 which has led to even more consumer frustration and disappointment considering how severely lacking they have been. This update moved Eddy Curry from free agency to the Mavericks, fixed a few jersey numbers, and that is about all that was done. There are still nearly 30 players that remain inexcusably absent. In addition to the missing players there are many others that are sitting in free agency and should be on teams, players on ...
