NBA 2K13 Week Four Upcoming Roster Update Discussion
A week and a half has now passed since the last roster update for NBA 2K13. That one brought the number of missing players to under 20 and adjusted the ratings to 14 players. It also included the unlocks for the alternate and Christmas jerseys that had been leaked back in October. NBA 2K13 Patch Available Now
The first gameplay and feedback-based patch for NBA 2K13 is out now for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. The release of the patch falls right in line with earlier expectations that it would be out in late November. Modes in progress will not have to be restarted for the changes to take effect. NBA 2K13 Patch Expected To Release Within Next Two Weeks
Heading into the holiday 2K Sports announced that a comprehensive patch for NBA 2K13, that will act as the first for the game since it released in early October, has been submitted for certification to Microsoft and Sony. Generally that testing process takes anywhere from 10-14 days unless an issue is discovered that delays its approval. There may not be much hope of 2K Sports producing a completely satisfactory roster update for NBA 2K13 but still the tracking of players outperforming or underperforming compared to their ratings should continue to be scrutinized. In the last update 6 players were added bringing the number of missing down to 19. Latest NBA 2K13 Roster Update Includes Unlock of Alternate and Christmas Jerseys
Another roster update for NBA 2K13 arrived this morning and brings with it some ratings changes, a handful of new players, and the unlock of extra jerseys. The recent signings of Josh Howard by Minnesota and Shaun Livingston by Washington have been reflected. Wii U Coverage Coming Next Week
Three major sports franchises launch along with the Wii U on Sunday: Madden NFL 13, FIFA 13, and NBA 2K13. The first two are actually already out and in hand while 2K13 ships out today. Impressions and videos of the three games will be posted beginning on Monday. A reasonable expectation now from yearly sports titles is to get strong post-release support in the way of additional content and patches to address issues or improve the experience.
