    Last year EA Sports attempted to market NBA Live 13 as "The Future of Basketball" and with it they tied up a number of rising-stars in the league to be a part of their marketing campaign. One of them was Kyrie Irving and as that relationship continues he became one of the favorites to snag the cover of NBA Live 14.     The trailer showing off the upcoming Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, NBA Live 14, and UFC releases for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 has made it online after debuting at the Microsoft event earlier today alongside other news. The video highlights the new "EA Sports Ignite" engine which is said to deliver true player motion, advanced AI, and living worlds taking advantage of the advanced specs of the systems. (more…)...

    As expected EA Sports held a prominent role at the Microsoft event to reveal the new Xbox One. Andrew Wilson appeared to discuss the next generation confirming Madden NFL 25, FIFA 14, NBA Live 14, and UFC for the Xbox One.     After lying dormant for eight months since posting the announcement of NBA Live 13's cancellation EA Sports today sent out a message via multiple NBA Live social platform accounts that NBA Live 14 is "coming to a court near you".     Three of the biggest performers from the playoffs get a boost in the latest NBA 2K13 roster update with Nate Robinson (+1 to 83), Klay Thompson (+3 to 75), and Stephen Curry (+1 to 88) getting credit for their elevated play. Amare Stoudemire and Tiago Splitter return from injuries to active status as does David Lee for some reason.     A minor roster update released today for NBA 2K13. Marc Gasol is the only player to have received a change to ratings as he rises 2 points to 85 overall. The two biggest stars of the postseason thus far, Stephen Curry and Nate Robinson, went untouched in this update. Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich, and Steve Novak hit the injured list.     Despite no consumer demand and continued missteps in development EA Sports currently still plans to release an NBA Live entry this year.
