Quick Thoughts From E3 2013 Day One
Here are some basic impressions from the first day being on the show floor of E3 which featured prominently the upcoming EA Sports games. The company shut down any recording of the games at their booth so unlike past years the number of videos and images coming out will be limited. Included at the end of this piece are the short videos of Madden NFL 25 captured before that point as the taking of them had been approved to begin the day.
Thoughts on all the games will be expanded upon i...
Recapping the Sony E3 Press Conference; First Look at NBA 2K14 Next-Gen
Sony opened their press conference with discussion on upcoming releases for the PlayStation Vita and PS3. Attention then turned to the PS4 which is definitely being pushed as a gaming platform as opposed to Microsoft who made gaming seem secondary until their presser today.
The actual console was finally put on display and after getting sidetracked on movies some exclusive games were announced like The Order: 1886, updates on the games shown at the event back in February were made, and a ...

The "King James" Bonus pack will be included in all pre-ordered copies whether it be at Amazon, Gamestop, or elsewhere and applies only to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. The PC is again being left out and plans for the Xbox One and PS4 will come at a la...
LeBron James is Cover Athlete for NBA 2K14
2K Sports has announced that reigning MVP LeBron James will be the cover athlete for NBA 2K14. The news likely would have been pushed back had the Pacers knocked the Heat out of the playoffs but instead 2K can now celebrate nabbing the best player in the league - maybe necessary to avoid a promotional letdown after the exceptional representation they secured for the last three NBA 2K covers.
NBA 2K14 is confirmed for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC and then later coming to the Xbox One and P...
Teaser Trailer Released for This Week’s First Appearance of NBA 2K14
2K Sports today released a teaser trailer for NBA 2K14 again directing fans to look for something big on Thursday. The trailer consists of footage drawn completely from 2K13 so there is nothing to glean from it besides that.
The takeaway from this might be that whatever comes on Thursday will now have to be of actual substance in order to avoid massive disappointment. Would they really release a teaser trailer with 2K13 footage only to push out another teaser with 2K13 footage? Probably n...
