2K Sports today released a blog detailing more on Crews mode for NBA 2K14. The initial announcement hyped the "return" of Crew but fans of the mode quickly spoke out that it was not actually the case based on the info being provided. The confirmation that Crews will be held in the blacktop environment with games played to 21 will be disheartening to those who had hoped for something resembling the original experience. An awful lot was being lost by moving to blacktop but not having full f...

Post-release support as a whole has been a weakness of the NBA 2K series - so much so that EA Sports made roster updates coming out within an hour after every game ends one of the first features announced for NBA Live 14. 2K's updates have been released inconsistently, offered limited ratings changes, and gone with many players missing completely from the game for extended periods of time. The lack of effort put into updates has been one of the most discussed areas of disappointment relating...

Last week brought the first look at the current-gen version of NBA 2K14 from Gamescom and now additional recorded footage has come out of yesterday's Gamestop Expo. Rather than the Euroleague which was being featured overseas the build captured from here is an NBA Finals rematch of the Spurs vs Heat. The extended off-screen footage of course is not of ideal quality but again provides an opportunity to gauge how the action flows, the presentation elements, and how the various gameplay improve...
