Odd cover art choices for the NCAA basketball games
The two big names from college basketball making their way into the NBA this year are of course Greg Oden and Kevin Durant. Oden was chosen as cover athlete for College Hoops 2K8 and Durant is representing NCAA March Madness 08.
The cover art for the two games were revealed recently. Something about both of them struck me as being strange. They come across as unnatural for various reasons. There had to have been better options than these right?

Kevin Durant to be on the cover of March Madness 08
Kevin Durant will be the cover athlete for EA Sports NCAA March Madness 08 as reported by the Seattle Times.
Durant is widely expected to be taken second in the 2007 NBA Draft and go to the Seattle Supersonics. It is possible however that the Portland Trailblazers could take him at number one where they have the choice between him or Ohio State's Greg Oden.

Some of the NBA Street: Homecourt downloadable content that has been advertised as coming soon since launch time has finally made its way to the Xbox Live Marketplace.

NBA Street: Homecourt downloadable content only on the 360
While the debate over the positives and negatives of downloadable content in general continues, its clear that companies are still seeing it as a profitable venture that ultimately satisfies the majority.
NBA Street: Homecourt appears to be the latest example of a title taking full advantage of the opportunity to offer additional items following the release of the game. Currently only the themes and picture packs are available, however there are plans for much more.
