Open world setting for MyPlayer characters coming with NBA 2K18
2K Sports today revealed the new open world structure for NBA 2K18 in which MyPlayers will reside. In a sense it's reminiscent of Take Two's (parent company of 2K Sports) own GTA Online, as the neighborhood connects NBA 2K modes that previously were isolated on their own - MyCareer, The Park, and 2K Pro-Am along with actual storefronts for player customization.

NBA 2K18 on Switch won’t be missing features found on PS4/XB1
Despite the release of NBA 2K18 being just two weeks away it took until today for anything about the Nintendo Switch version to be described or shown off by 2K Sports. Thankfully the news is good as the game will offer the very same feature set and engine found on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Top rated players in NBA 2K18
2K Sports has now revealed the top rated players by position for NBA 2K18 and there is some movement of note from the end of last season within the rankings. LeBron James is of course still the highest rated active player in the league at 97 Overall, followed closely behind by Kevin Durant and James Harden.

Last year in NBA 2K17 the pool of contributing voices during and around the games expanded to 11. The booth consisted of Kevin Harlan and a group of rotating analysts that included Chris Webber, Steve Smith, Doris Burke, Brent Barry, Greg Anthony, and Clark Kellogg. Sideline reporting was handled by David Aldridge and the Inside the NBA crew Ernie Johnson, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kenny Smith held down the studio show.

All-time teams trailer for NBA 2K18
Besides the 17 new classic teams that have now been fully revealed, NBA 2K18 will also be introducing all-time teams populated by the best players from the history of the current 30 franchises. While it appears the likes of Charles Barkley and Reggie Miller will be missing from their respective teams, a majority of the most notable players for every franchise should be expected. The gradual rollout of the 16 new classic teams for NBA 2K18 is now complete, and unfortunately it appears that the two players most fans had hoped for - particularly given the announcement of All-Time teams for each franchise - remain as holdouts. Last week 2K Sports began unveiling the 16 classic teams that will be making their debut in NBA 2K18, joining the 45 others that will be carrying over.
