NBA Live 10 Hustle Plays
EA Sports has provided a new video to IGN showcasing more of the "Hustle Plays" that were first mentioned in the previous gameplay enhancements trailer. This time though the video includes actual footage of the game as it is being played from the default gameplay camera. Derrick Rose Gets Draft Combine Cover
It may not have been anticipated, but 2K Sports has revealed the cover athlete for NBA 2K10 Draft Combine. The downloadable offering is more of a start of the My Player mode and quasi-demo than it is a standalone game and will be available for the 360 on Wednesday August 26th for 400 MS points, with the PS3 having to wait until Thursday September 3rd for $5. NBA Live 10 Gameplay Enhancements
EA Sports has released a new video featuring a few of the improvements that have been made directly to the gameplay for NBA Live 10. Producer Mike Wang describes the hustle plays, sizeups, and rebounding. The hustle plays and rebounding especially were areas that needed to be worked on going into this year and it looks like they've made significant enhancements in those areas. NBA 2K10 Preview and Screenshots
Gamespot has posted up a preview of NBA 2K10 along with 12 new screenshots from the game. Areas discussed in the preview include improved commentary, better court spacing, addition of the D-League, and the My Player mode. More On NBA 2K10 Draft Combine
Three weeks ago the news broke on a downloadable offering from 2K Sports that would have a connection with NBA 2K10. Today details on NBA 2K10 Draft Combine came to light along with some screenshots. Releasing in September, several weeks before the actual game, it will go for $5 and will be available download only through the PSN Store and XBL Marketplace (where it is the equivalent 400 MS points). NBA Live and NHL Soundtracks
The official soundtracks for NBA Live 10 and NHL 10 have also been revealed. While they are no where near as influential as Madden there is still a great deal of interest from artists looking for added exposure. I'm far less familiar with the artists on these soundtracks and the one for Live seems light on songs so maybe more will ended up being added before release.
