We are now approximately 12% of the way into the NBA season at which point some trends can start to be analyzed. I thought it would be interesting to look at how the player ratings have changed based on the results from the start of the season. The easiest way to do this is look at those who are clearly outperforming expectations and those who are disappointing. How have their ratings changed in NBA Live 10 and NBA 2K10 since the start of the season? (more…)...

With less than a week until release they have finally come out and discussed this feature. You can check out the full blog here. With these updates you will also get the latest top 25 and RPI for all teams featured in the game. These updates are showcased in-game on all relevant broadcast overlays as well as in the D...
  • NBA Unrivaled Impressions

It would be one thing if NBA Unrivaled was 400 MS points/$5 but it isn't. The downloadable only game for XBLA and PSN is asking for 1200 MS points/$15. It appears that the sole reason for the is the use of the NBA license because there is nothing else about the game that could justify such a price. Luckily as with every downloadable game a free trial is offered. The trial includes the Lakers vs Magic with two minute quarters. Yes, NBA Unrivaled does include the NBA license meaning it incl...

With the highly anticipated patch release for NBA 2K10 yesterday (for the 360) I thought it would be a good idea to look at the reaction the patch was getting around the community as well as adding my own personal thoughts on it. While 2K did an admirable job of getting the patch turned around relatively quickly there were some core issues with the game that needed to be addressed. Generally patches attempt to enhance aspects of the game or fix errors but don't have to deal with things as...
