NBA Live 18 upsets NBA 2K18 by having done a better job with player faces
Three years ago NBA 2K head a clear advantage in representing player faces but the gap between it and NBA Live has completely closed in the time since. With this year's contest NBA Live 18 has surprisingly topped NBA 2K18 by winning 13 of the 24 matchups. Details on another major NBA 2K18 patch
NBA 2K18 has now received its second major patch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One while Nintendo Switch and PC will be getting it in the near future. The first patch of real substanceĂ‚Â released at the end of September and addressed a framerate problem following timeouts and made attribute ratings visible when purchasing upgrades in MyCareer. First retailer deals for NBA Live 18
NBA Live 18 never had a chance in the marketplace to sell even at a reduced $40 pre-order price. No one, including publisher EA Sports, would have expected otherwise. NBA Playgrounds has added more free players and introduced a paid expansion
The fourth content update for NBA Playgrounds went out today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version has still received only the very first patch. This update brings another 45 players to the roster taking the total added post-release to 128. Additionally a new expansion pack called "Hot 'N Frosty" is being offered for $10 and includes eight rookies, three new playgrounds and tournaments.
