Though it has been suspected ever since Michael Jordan was revealed to be the cover athlete for NBA 2K11 there is finally confirmation on a new mode featuring him in-game. The mode will be known as "The Jordan Challenge" and allow for gamers to recreate many of his career highlights as well as play with some classic Chicago Bulls teams of the 80s and 90s (though based on the screenshot above it appears there will be some generic players included on the roster). CNBC has further details on t...

EA Sports has released four new screenshots for NBA Jam featuring the new look Miami Heat roster of Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh. Dime Magazine has released a new video for NBA Elite 11 focusing on the controls, the subject of which has gotten somewhat tiring, though this video does include some footage of the game with full teams on the court rather than just one on one. Unfortunately this comes across as another in a string of disappointing glimpses at the game which EA Sports has pumped up with a lot of talk but failed to deliver on with the media shown to date. Continue on to watch the video and leave your thoughts i...

There is a new big three in the NBA as Lebron James has decided to join up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat crushing the city of Cleveland in the process. While this represents an intimidating triumvirate the rest of the roster will probably end up consisting of Mario Chalmers, second round draft picks, and any players that can be persuaded to join the team at the minimum to make a run at the title. Looking at this from the perspective of how it will affect NBA Elite 11 and...

We've known for a long time now that NBA Jam would eventually be coming to the 360 and PS3 via XBLA and PSN. The general expectation had them arriving sometime next year given the focus that has been given to the Wii version and it being described as console exclusive. Could NBA Jam be coming sooner than expected to the 360 and PS3 though? Gamerbytes has spotted that the German USK rating system cleared through the 360 and PS3 versions of NBA Jam. That could imply arrival sometime this year th...
