NBA Elite 11 Includes Free NBA Jam
Well this is certainly surprising news. All indications seemed to point to NBA Jam arriving on the 360 and PS3 as a downloadable title sometime next year. However today EA Sports announced that copies of NBA Elite 11 will include a one-time-use code to download NBA Jam for free! There are currently no plans to sell NBA Jam on its own, the only way to get it will be by purchasing a new copy of NBA Elite 11.
NBA JAM has been optimized for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 to truly deliver a next-...
NBA Jam To Have Over 30 Past Superstars
ESPN has a new preview up of NBA Jam which focuses on the "Boss Battles" and inclusion of NBA Legends. Confirmed for the game are Magic Johnson, Dennis Rodman, Larry Bird, Hakeem Olajuwon, James Worthy, Kevin McHale, Clyde Drexler, Detlef Schrempf, Spud Webb and Manute Bol. There will be more than 30 legends in all so there are plenty more to be revealed if you're hoping for someone in particular.
The funny thing about the Magic battle is you give it to people and they're like, whatever, it'...
First NBA 2K11 Hands-on Preview
IGN has posted up the first hands-on preview for NBA 2K11. Most of the focus is on player control, the lack of which has been one of the central complaints towards the 2K series over the years. That looks to change this year with animations that can be broken out of and refined controls. The game will also receive some new options including Total Control Passing and a new play calling system with plays designed for individuals, both of which were first introduced last year in NBA Live 10.

NBA 2K11 Soundtrack Revealed
2K Sports has released the full soundtrack for NBA 2K11. I recognize maybe seven or eight of the artists so I really have no idea whether the complete lineup is going to be an enjoyable one. Snoop Dogg contributed an original song to be the theme for the game this year and I'm strangely intrigued that a song by Ron Artest has been included. NBA 2K11 Will Utilize Playstation Move
The Sony Holiday Catalog includes a list of titles that will have Playstation Move functionality. Many of them are games that are intended to showcase the motion controls, while others are current titles that will be implementing it as an alternate scheme such as Tiger Woods 11 and (and next year) MLB 11: The Show.
NBA 2K11 is now confirmed to feature Playstation Move as a control option, and though it was mentioned at E3 (which slipped by me) how it will be used remains unknown. Like the o...
No Early Draft Combine for NBA 2K11
After some speculation the news has officially come down that there will be no Draft Combine released for NBA 2K11. An extension of My Player mode which provided character creation, drills, and scrimmages for the start of the career mode came out over a month in advance of the release of NBA 2K10 as a download on XBL and PSN and sold for $5. In many ways it was essentially a quasi pay-for demo with it being the first opportunity to try out 2K10 arriving even well before gameplay videos.

NBA 2K11 Historic Teams and Jordan Trailer
2K Sports has released the list of historic teams included in NBA 2K11 along with a quick teaser trailer featuring the cover athlete Michael Jordan. The list of historic teams may not be final with 2K possibly attempting to add more before the game has to be finalized or post-release as downloadable content. I've also added two full-size Jordan screenshots to the gallery. Continue on to check out the list of teams and the trailer and leave your thoughts in the comments!

Plan May Be To Offer More Jordan Moments as DLC
Kotaku has received the list of the 10 game challenges that make up "The Jordan Challenge" in NBA 2K11. As revealed earlier today there will be 10 different versions of Michael Jordan to use and each one can be taken into each of the challenges.
As noted by Kotaku there is one very notable omission from the list of challenges. "The Shot" over Craig Ehlo that put a dagger into the heart of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 1989 playoffs. According to 2K Sports the decision was made to leave it ...
