NBA 2K11 is getting rave reviews for its gameplay and offline modes and deservedly so. Once I have had enough time with the game to comfortably craft my impressions that will be a big part of the discussion. NBA 2K11 Jordan Challenge Impressions
The Michael Jordan mode most heavily marketed in NBA 2K11 is the "Jordan Challenge" which presents a set of 10 different scenarios to complete based on many of the biggest moments in his career. I went into the mode uncertain of whether it would be something that I'd continue playing past making a few, likely futile, attempts. NBA 2K11 Hard Drive Evaluation
Continuing with the series of Xbox 360 hard drive installation evaluations I've gone through and compared several areas of NBA2K11 based on loading times from the disk vs the hard drive. There have yet to be any serious issues discovered affecting enjoyment early on and though there are reports of trouble with online that is not unexpected for a launch day. NBA 2K11 Now Faced With Difficulties That Come With Owning the Market
The announcement that EA Sports has delayed NBA Elite 11 was surely met by applause at 2K Sports as it leaves NBA 2K11 as the sole "sim" release for this season. 2K11 was already in position to blow Elite out of the water in sales but now it finds itself owning the entire market.
