NBA 2K14 Pre-Order Bonus Detailed
For NBA 2K14 once again 2K Sports is providing exclusive content for pre-ordering that won't be specific to a single retailer. Last year it was the All-Star Weekend package and this time the incentive relates to cover athlete LeBron James.
The "King James" Bonus pack will be included in all pre-ordered copies whether it be at Amazon, Gamestop, or elsewhere and applies only to the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. The PC is again being left out and plans for the Xbox One and PS4 will come at a la...
LeBron James is Cover Athlete for NBA 2K14
2K Sports has announced that reigning MVP LeBron James will be the cover athlete for NBA 2K14. The news likely would have been pushed back had the Pacers knocked the Heat out of the playoffs but instead 2K can now celebrate nabbing the best player in the league - maybe necessary to avoid a promotional letdown after the exceptional representation they secured for the last three NBA 2K covers.
NBA 2K14 is confirmed for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC and then later coming to the Xbox One and PS4...
Teaser Trailer Released for This Week’s First Appearance of NBA 2K14
2K Sports today released a teaser trailer for NBA 2K14 again directing fans to look for something big on Thursday. The trailer consists of footage drawn completely from 2K13 so there is nothing to glean from it besides that.
The takeaway from this might be that whatever comes on Thursday will now have to be of actual substance in order to avoid massive disappointment. Would they really release a teaser trailer with 2K13 footage only to push out another teaser with 2K13 footage? Probably n...

2K Release Schedule Essentially Confirms This Year’s Next-Gen Plans
It has been widely expected that 2K Sports would release NBA 2K14 on the PS4 and next Xbox which would likely come shortly after first releasing on the 360 and PS3. However WWE 2K14 - considering the acquisition of the license from THQ who had been battling financial trouble, the continued development from Yuke's studio, and the even tighter time frame between the two - appeared unlikely to make that same fluid transition. The quarterly financial report from Take Two has basically confirmed ...
Another Second Round Playoff Roster Update for NBA 2K13
Three of the biggest performers from the playoffs get a boost in the latest NBA 2K13 roster update with Nate Robinson (+1 to 83), Klay Thompson (+3 to 75), and Stephen Curry (+1 to 88) getting credit for their elevated play. Amare Stoudemire and Tiago Splitter return from injuries to active status as does David Lee for some reason. Kent Bazemore has finally been added and all it took was appearing in 61 regular season games and making a would-be game winning shot in the playoffs. 19 players ...
NBA 2K13 Second Round Roster Update
A minor roster update released today for NBA 2K13. Marc Gasol is the only player to have received a change to ratings as he rises 2 points to 85 overall. The two biggest stars of the postseason thus far, Stephen Curry and Nate Robinson, went untouched in this update. Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich, and Steve Novak hit the injured list. Those looking to recreate the final moments of the thrilling Warriors-Spurs game last night are out of luck as Kent Bazemore remains one of the many players that 2K...
