2K Sports today addressed a concern from NBA 2K13 by declaring dunks can in fact be blocked in NBA 2K14. One of the most common complaints last year was the inability to block them. It's not a significant release of information but at least 2K Sports is starting to talk about NBA 2K14 with eight weeks remaining until release on 360 and PS3. While it may feel as though 2K is behind typical schedule, possibly due to a conflict with promoting the next-gen version, they haven't deviated all t...

Considering the general reaction to the Pelicans name when first rumored and then announced, the jerseys revealed for New Orleans today are probably more understated than most would have anticipated. "Pelicans" doesn't even appear on either the home or road jersey. Check them out in their team store. 2K Sports capitalized on the moment by releasing an image of Anthony Davis wearing the jerseys from the 360/PS3 version of NBA 2K14....

Jay-Z isn't on board to "executive produce" NBA 2K14 but the soundtrack is being handled in another unorthodox manner. This time cover athlete LeBron James is choosing all the songs and he wants to hear from fans on what some of them should be.  (more…)...

    Posted June 25th, 2013 at 10:45 am 12 Comments »
With the season complete the final roster update for NBA 2K13 arrived today. The update releases injured players to active status providing for an opportunity to use Derrick Rose, Kobe Bryant, Andrew Bynum, Kevin Love, Rajon Rondo, and others who were out for the whole season or had theirs end prematurely. Sadly zero ratings adjustments were made which just adds yet another example to how poorly updates were handled throughout the season. With NBA Live 14 pushing out roster updates withi...

Sony opened their press conference with discussion on upcoming releases for the PlayStation Vita and PS3. Attention then turned to the PS4 which is definitely being pushed as a gaming platform as opposed to Microsoft who made gaming seem secondary until their presser today. The actual console was finally put on display and after getting sidetracked on movies some exclusive games were announced like The Order: 1886, updates on the games shown at the event back in February were made, and a ...
