The patch that went out last Tuesday on PlayStation 4 for NBA 2K16 has finally gone live on Xbox One. It primarily focuses on getting the 2K Pro-Am up and running. That means it was nearly a full month that consumers on XB1 went without the new mode being functional. Other minor issues have been addressed, the biggest being a fix to MyCourt to make them joinable. The next patch, which will have a heavy focus on gameplay and other areas largely driven by consumer feedback, is not expected ...

It took several weeks for Pro-Am to get up and running properly in NBA 2K16. The recent patch has fixed the primary issues - out on PS4 but Xbox One is still waiting on that - providing an opportunity to try it out in full for the first time. (more…)...

While most mobile sports games have gone the free-to-play direction and away from playing like traditional console games, 2K Sports surprisingly has continued to produce premium apps that attempt to offer a similar experience while using on-screen touch controls. The latest is NBA 2K16 which has just gone out for iOS devices and Android devices. This game is not to be confused with the MyNBA2K16 app which is the free companion to the console game. The new mobile version of NBA 2K16 is so...

NBA 2K16 features an excellent suite of customization options to create arenas and uniforms for use in Pro-Am, MyTeam, and relocation in MyGM and MyLeague. For those who don't know much about it, check out the earlier article on how to make them, as well as a look at how to utilize them in Pro-Am now that the mode will work post-patch. Also addressed is the inability to join other MyCourts plus a number of fixes throughout the various modes.  (more…)...

With one of the game's major modes not really working the first patch for NBA 2K16 is eagerly awaited.  Finally today 2K Sports commented on the subject after being mute on it since the game came out, stating that a patch is currently in the internal testing stage with expectation it will reach first parties for certification soon. Essentially then a reasonable expectation is two weeks from this point before it will go live on PS4 and Xbox One. That's a long time to wait as Pro-Am will ...

2K Sports promoted the Pro-Am as a big feature addition for NBA 2K16. As a replacement for the Jordan Rec Center, the feature would allow up to five people to play as a team online against a team of others, with leaderboards and no more "Got Next" waiting around. The team branding would even allow for custom uniforms and arena. Unfortunately we're now on the 13th day since 2K16 released and the Pro-Am still isn't working properly. Games more often than not never start up, with the lobby ...
