NBA 2K10: Draft Combine releases this Wednesday for the 360 and on September 3rd for the PS3 with a price of $5/400 MS points. Essentially a jump-start on the "My Player" career mode it allows for player creation and the running through of drills and scrimmages. In doing so the player can increase the chances of being drafted by improving attributes. This could also be viewed as a quasi-demo considering NBA 2K10 is still six weeks from releasing and allows for an opportunity to get an early ...

It may not have been anticipated, but 2K Sports has revealed the cover athlete for NBA 2K10 Draft Combine. The downloadable offering is more of a start of the My Player mode and quasi-demo than it is a standalone game and will be available for the 360 on Wednesday August 26th for 400 MS points, with the PS3 having to wait until Thursday September 3rd for $5. Even though it is available only by download, by creating its own cover they will probably be offering codes to purchase in stores. The...

Gamespot has posted up a preview of NBA 2K10 along with 12 new screenshots from the game. Areas discussed in the preview include improved commentary, better court spacing, addition of the D-League, and the My Player mode. It would be a downloadable only game available on XBL and PSN. You can read their story on it here. No word on potential pricing or tie-ins with NBA 2K10. Available in limited supply for $100 it will include a game storage locker, Kobe Bryant McFarlane and poster, video chronicling the history of the NBA 2K franchise, and access to the "Gold Room" which is a VIP online lobby.
