MLB 2K11 Dynamic Ratings Feature Explained
2K Sports has released the first substantive developer diary for MLB 2K11 which goes into detail on the Dynamic Ratings feature. The system dynamically updates player ratings based on real world performance in MLB Today, My Player, and Franchise modes. You can check out the full dev diary which was posted on Facebook here. MLB 11: The Show Soundtrack Revealed
SCEA has released details on the soundtrack for MLB 11: The Show. There are 12 tracks total with acts such as 311, J. Cole, and The Temper Trap included. It's worth noting the game also includes the "My MLB Music" feature which was first introduced into the series four years ago and allows for customization of the soundtrack.

Your Most Anticipated MLB 2K11 Feature
With just six weeks to go until the release of MLB 2K11 we have a general idea of what the game will be offering. The features list arrived last week and detailed new dynamic player ratings for modes including franchise, a revamped fielding system, and new player models. The $1 million perfect game contest is set up to be the big marketing angle for the second straight year.

The Latest on MLB 2K11
Here are some updates on MLB 2K11 since breaking the news on the feature list during the week. It'll be interesting to see whether the game, which has put a focus on improving defensive play in lieu of significant new features, will be able to draw any of the large number of consumers who've been turned away by previous efforts this generation. The $1 million contest is obviously meant to be that attraction as simply saying the game is cleaned up and potentially a solid effort won't be enough ...
