MLB 11 Cover Creating Some Confusion
When Joe Mauer was announced as The Show's cover athlete for the second year in a row it was perceived somewhat as an uninspired decision. Beyond that though there wasn't much consideration given to how a similar cover to the previous iteration would affect the game as it related to retailers and in turn consumers.

Demo for MLB 2K11 Out Now
The demo for MLB 2K11 is now available for the Xbox 360 and will be arriving for the PS3 with the update to PSN this evening. The demo features a three inning World Series rematch as the Texas Rangers visit the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park. Starting pitchers for both teams are randomized for each start and there are practically no options (camera, difficulty, controls) that can be changed and no commentary.

Though 2K Sports has yet to make officially announce them the demos for both MLB 2K11 and Top Spin 4 are scheduled to hit the PS3 and 360 on Tuesday March 1st. No details on what the demos will feature yet but that will likely be detailed laid out today.

MLB 11: The Show Demo Impressions
Many gamers had seemingly been on the fence regarding MLB 11: The Show heading into its demo release on Tuesday. I certainly fell amongst them, and in the end I could end up being disappointed yet again if the online play remains dismal. However after having spent a good deal of time with the demo I can safely say that what had been largely stale is no longer thanks in large part to the new analog controls. (more…)...
