    It may have come late but 2K Sports has finally posted the official rules and guidelines for the MLB 2K11 $1 Million Perfect Game Contest therefore meeting what was likely a legal obligation to do so. The rules appear to be largely similar to last year, though the age requirement has been dropped to 13. The contest will officially open up on April 1st at noon eastern.   • First Roster Update for MLB 11: The Show

    SCEA has delivered the opening day roster update for MLB 11: The Show. The update includes 156 changes with the most significant moves cited in the image above. For those of you without an online-connected PS3 I've gone ahead and prepared the file. You can download the file directly from here , unpack, and then transfer the folder to the console. It will then appear in the saves within the game where it can be loaded manually....

    Both MLB 11: The Show and MLB 2K11 are set to hit stores tomorrow but that doesn't mean all has been answered about these games. There are still questions consumers may have that are lingering and could affect purchase decisions. SCEA and 2K Sports are making questionable moves in the lead-up to their respective releases.     Road to the Show in SCEA's MLB series has always been one of the better sports gaming career modes. Despite that it has faced its share of issues and a tedious nature that has grown tired over the last few years.     One slick new feature that both baseball titles are providing this year are the unique television broadcast camera angles that are tailored to the specifics for each stadium. The same angle and zooms used to watch the games on TV are represented by selecting "Broadcast". With MLB 11: The Show not only does the angle vary from stadium to stadium but the placement of the pitching meter does as well.     The AI logic and sim engine in a Franchise mode are always heavily scrutinized and for good reason. Poor output by either can completely sour the experience and damage the value of the title.     Earlier the overall team rankings for MLB 11: The Show made their way out, however the overall is only a representation of the combined batting, pitching, and defensive rankings.
