Teaser Trailer for MLB 13: The Show
SCEA has released the debut trailer for MLB 13: The Show which features highlights of the seven players who are eligible to win the honor of becoming the cover athlete. The voting for the cover is set to begin next Monday. Revisiting the Top Stories of 2012: Death of MLB 2K Series Leaves Void on 360 and Possibly Beyond
It came as no surprise that Take Two would pass on renewing a third party exclusive agreement with Major League Baseball thus signalling an end to the 2K franchise. MLB 2K will end up being the only officially licensed "sim" game to have appeared on the Xbox 360. #7 of 2012 – MLB 12: The Show
There has been no more consistent sports series this generation than SCEA's MLB: The Show. It has shined in gameplay, depth, and authenticity while struggling mightily along the way in areas such as online play and commentary. MLB 12: The Show was no different than the titles that preceded it. MLB 13: The Show Introduces Universal Profile and New Throwback Uniforms
SCEA has released some additional details on MLB 13: The Show relating to a new "Universal Profile" and throwback uniforms that will be available. Given that it is mid-December, when typically only cover athlete and basic features have been discussed in the past, the news makes for interesting information to digest before the bigger features are to be revealed beginning in January.
