Last year the cover athlete announcement came on December 5th and that was followed three days later by the reveal of the central features for the game.     The Kansas City Royals prevailed over the New York Mets in five games to become World Champions. With the season complete attention will soon turn to the start of promotion for MLB 16: The Show.     MLB 15: The Show does some great things for postseason games and exposes consumers to them more than probably any other sports series. The game offers up a standalone Postseason Mode and incorporates the presentation into The Show Live, rather than just being there only for those who reach the playoffs in Franchise Mode.     The latest roster update for MLB 15: The Show was expected to carry some significance, not for the ratings changes this time around but rather the new players that would be added. With September call-ups many players would become eligible to make their debut in The Show following their appearances in a Major League game.
