Too little, too late?
SCEA has finally released a trailer for the PS3 version of MLB 07: The Show which is currently tagged for a May 15th release. Until now only a handful of screens had made their way out. The game has gone through multiple release date delays which has caused it to fall well into the baseball season. Those factors have caused worrysome chatter to become dominant. Was the game even going to be released this year and what major problems were causing the game to be pushed back?

2K Sports releases first screenshots from The Bigs
While being slated for a summer release (Gamestop lists it currently as 6/1 which essentially means unknown date) very little has been revealed about the new game from 2K Sports The Bigs.

We know the focus is on improving your created player or team of players and not a franchise type mode. We know it will have online play for up to four players (yay!). We kno...

Hot topic 4/5: MLB 07 The Show on PS3
With the positive buzz that has surrounded the franchise the last couple years, the PS3 version of MLB 07: The Show was highly anticipated going into this baseball gaming season. However the game has been pushed back multiple times, and the only media released were a few underwhelming screens back on March 1st.
The lack of information had brought speculation that the game could actually be called off for this year. However a rep from SCEA posted on the Operation Sports forum yesterday to h...
How does a game this bad get released?
Reading some of the comments on different forums regarding the Nintendo DS version of MLB 2K7, its hard to imagine that a game could be as bad as people have made it out to be. Generally things get exaggerated on message boards, especially from those who are upset or disappointed.
Well in this case it seems all the complaining is justified. Per the Gamespot review (which received a 2.5/10):
The Bad: You're limited in what you can do, and the controls are unresponsive; no season mode or trade...
