Concern remains that there isn't more available about MLB Front Office Manager as we now reach two weeks before the game is released. The details known about the game remain vague. A series of producer video blogs were promised but only the one from over a month ago has materialized. And the less than encouraging early review hasn't pushed 2K to attempt changing the current perception by promoting the game. Still though I am looking forward to it, especially when it comes to the Online Fa...
  • Early MLB Front Office Manager Review

The latest OXM has the first review for MLB Front Office Manager. They gave it a 5/10 citing awful menus and a worthless manager mode though they did state the game was very in depth. Thanks to Jesse Behr from The 'Burgh Blues for sending the tip in. While the review would seem discouraging it sounds awful familiar to some of the ones that were handed out to NFL Head Coach 09. While I just couldn't get into that game, it did deliver the deep and very detailed experience that crowd was loo...

Over the last week I've been tracking MLB Front Office Manager's status on Gamestop. For reasons unknown the 360 version disappeared off the site while the PS3 and PC versions remained. Now there have been a couple new developments that could suggest the price of the game has been changed from the $39.99 it was expected to be. Thanks to a forum post by PP member doubleot it came to my attention that Gamestop now has the 360 version back up and listed for $34.99. It specifically mentions a...

The cover art for MLB Front Office Manager is now out as well as the official feature list. As to the features for the most part they have been discussed through the various interviews and previews out so far and the Online Fantasy Leagues remain especially intriguing. While I was expecting to see Billy Beane incorporated into the cover instead they went the direction of a silhouette, with the implication of course being that you are now the GM. Build Your Roster –An extremely dee...

Gamespot has posted up the latest preview of MLB Front Office Manager. As we've now hit what is generally the dead spot in the sports gaming year it is nice to have a game to look forward to that splits the difference between now and when the baseball titles are released in the first week of March. In the past January has generally offered an arcade style game such as NBA Street or NFL Tour. Based on the depth of statistics, you can probably guess the level of off-the field depth in the FOM...
  • MLB Front Office Manager Price Revealed

One of the frequent comments when discussing 2K Sports' MLB Front Office Manager has been that interest would be had only at a lower price point than the standard $60 game. There is legitimate concern as to whether a game of this nature can succeed on the consoles, especially after the relatively low sales and interest that NFL Head Coach was able to capture. Baseball fans though are more likely to be attracted to a game of this nature than football fans were to Head Coach. The question a...

Ever since the announcement of MLB Front Office Manager nearly a month ago there has been some good initial info provided along with a batch of screenshots. It has actually been outside of 2K Sports' M.O. to have this much about a game out this early, with the release date not coming until late January. The details on the game continue with Jon Robinson of ESPN having an interview with producer Edwin Loo. A bunch of topics are discussed at length. If you have any interest in the game it i...
