Online Baseball Night One Recap
Just wanted to drop a few thoughts on the handful of games I got played this evening. Online Baseball Night one
The first Online Baseball Night will take place tomorrow (Thursday) with the concentrated upon time being 3pt/6et through 7pt/10et. This is a time for the community to gather and get in some good games against quality opponents for the 360 MLB 2K8 or the PS3 MLB 08: The Show. Initial impressions of The Show
Given that much of today will be spent playing 2K8 I wanted to drop off my early impressions of MLB 08: The Show. Having played through a few standard games as well as some Road to the Show mode I've gotten a good feel for things. Overall, as most people have found through the demo, the true baseball experience is delivered. The gameplay is very good, commentary excellent, and graphics significantly upgraded. Padre’s Road to the Show Part One
So to kick off the Road to the Show I'll have a brief recap of the beginnings of Padre's career. The create-a-player is pretty deep but I didn't spend too much time with it as I just wanted to get him looking somewhat like myself. Here is the first recorded full game from MLB 08: The Show and it features the Los Angeles Dodgers at Washington Nationals. It felt like this game would go on forever and with little to no action as the pitching was dominant from both sides. However the game does end in dramatic fashion.
