The pre-order bonus for MLB 10: The Show was first discussed back in December and then updated with the latest last week. At select retailers those who pre-order the game will receive a code to download six classic stadiums for free. Those are Shibe Park, Forbes Field, Polo Grounds, Crosley Field, Sportsman's Park, and Griffith Stadium. Earlier today a new posting on the Playstation Blog went up with SCEA confirming the details that had been previously laid out. They also have included a sc...

As first noted last month the classic stadiums being advertised for MLB 10: The Show are actually being provided as downloadable content and won't be included in the game. Not only has the pre-order bonus of a code to download the six stadiums reappeared on Gamestop but the same offer is now being made on Amazon. No word on how much these stadiums will cost otherwise or whether they'll be available individually or only as the full group. Generally I wouldn't see anything wrong with extra st...

The first gameplay video of MLB 10: The Show came out of CES late last week. Being demoed at the same event were Sony prototype 3D TVs with a handful of their games including The Show. Obviously this video isn't going to display itself in 3D but it does offer an opportunity to get a look at it in action and listen to the comments of those in the room. It's clear that this is a technology that will be integrated into games in the coming years as consumers adapt 3D capable TVs. What interest ...

The ranking of games in the best of 2009 list is based primarily on the personal amount of enjoyment had with a particular title. Some other factors include whether advertised features were fully delivered on, post-release support, community interaction and communication, overall gameplay experience, feature set, and online play performance. Again this is a personal take on the games. The analysis is weighted largely towards those which I had the most fun with while considering them as a who...
