With MLB 10: The Show now out here is an opportunity to post some thoughts on the game. There are still no reviews published which is somewhat surprising especially combined with the lack of a demo but for the most part there remains strong consumer confidence in the product. I'll be spending time with the game over the next few days posting videos, impressions, and especially focusing on the online play performance. You can follow me on Twitter where I'll be noting some things as I go through...

A huge problem with what appears to be related to the internal clock took down many PS3's on Sunday evening. The situation is approaching where the games to be released on Tuesday, including MLB 10: The Show, could be unplayable for a large number of gamers. The issue at hand prevents the console from connecting to PSN and keeps games that support trophies from being played even offline. (more…)...

When the demo details for MLB 2K10 were released it was discovered that it would not arrive until March 4th for the PS3. 2K Sports representative Ronnie Singh tweeted about the delay to the MLB 2K10 demo yesterday in apparent reaction to the situation surrounding the lack of a pre-release demo for MLB 10: The Show. So wait a second, our PS3 MLB demo gets held up a week for what reason now? Initially my suspicion was that the MLB 2K10 demo had simply been submitted too late and that is the in...

Though it hasn't been stated explicitly all signs point to the demo for MLB 10: The Show being absent from the PSN update today. SCEA has remained notably silent about the demo while the Playstation Blog today posted an article on the game advertising the opportunity to play the game at select Best Buy locations. (Update) Can now confirm there will be no downloadable pre-release demo. Now, if this wasn't The Show, I would be a lot more concerned. For the most part everyone knows what to exp...
