MLB 11: The Show Soundtrack Revealed
SCEA has released details on the soundtrack for MLB 11: The Show. There are 12 tracks total with acts such as 311, J. Cole, and The Temper Trap included. It's worth noting the game also includes the "My MLB Music" feature which was first introduced into the series four years ago and allows for customization of the soundtrack.

Trailer for MLB 11: The Show
Things have been relatively quiet on the info and media front for MLB 11: The Show as of late. SCEA hasn't released anything on the game since mid-December. Today though comes a new teaser trailer which again carries with it little actual value but will certainly start to build up the anticipation for release which is just five weeks away from tomorrow. See the Playstation Move in Action in MLB 11
It has long been known that Playstation Move would be implemented in MLB 11: The Show. When the first news on features was announced it was revealed that the implementation would be limited to use in Home Run Derby. In this video from CES check out the first footage of the motion control use in the game, which includes a somewhat bizarre looking floating bat rather than a player at the plate or first person camera. Your Most Anticipated MLB 11 Feature
While there are sure to be many more features and improvements announced for MLB 11: The Show the core set has already been revealed. The shift to default analog controls for pitching, hitting, and fielding is the most significant to the gameplay experience. There is also the addition of a (up to) 2v2 co-op mode, "Challenge of the Week" mini-games online for prizes, and Playstation Move and 3D integration. Perhaps due to reaction garnered by MLB 10: The Show the series is making some significant changes going into next year in an attempt to provide a feeling of advancement. Though The Show has remained amongst the best in sports gaming in terms of quality it has seemed to settle in and avoid taking any risks. Sony Releasing Limited Edition MLB 11: The Show Controller
Scheduled for a timed release alongside MLB 11: The Show is a limited edition DualShock 3 wireless controller. It will be available the same day as the game, March 8th, and sell for $54.99. That is the same MSRP as any other version of the DualShock 3 however cheaper deals can be found for those at various retailers. It is uncertain how "limited" a number of controllers will be produced but it appears once the initial supply is exhausted that will be it.
