New MLB The Show 16 patch is here to fix the baserunning broken by the last patch
Two weeks ago a patch went out for MLB The Show 16 that addressed various issues with the game including the auto-baserunning that had not worked properly since the game released in late March. Unfortunately, the patch wrecked manual-baserunning in the process, and messed up several other areas of the game along with it.
Today the fourth patch for the game went live. It's intended to fix multiple problems with baserunning, cloud saves, and other issues. (more…)...
New pack in MLB The Show 16 goes heavy on speed and introduces some new cards
The fourth special pack to release during the regular season is now available for a limited time in MLB The Show 16. For 3,000 Coins it contains six player cards for a chance at some of the fastest players in the game and a “doubled chance” at Gold and Diamond cards.
As with the first three packs it’s questionable whether anyone should risk their coins on these given the nature of the supposed increased odds, not having the two item cards found in standard packs, ...

Latest MLB The Show 16 patch fixes some issues while creating new ones
The third patch for MLB The Show 16 has just gone out and is the update many have been waiting for as it deals with some of the community feedback received on the game since releasing in late March. While most notably auto-baserunning should supposedly work properly now, there has been no mention made regarding check swings or the lethargic animations into throws seen on occasion from both infielders and outfielders.
Unfortunately the patch has seemingly reintroduced some prob...

Five players added to MLB The Show 16 Diamond Dynasty through special card pack
For the second time since the season began a special limited time card pack has been introduced to MLB The Show 16. With the pack are five new cards that enter the Diamond Dynasty pool of players, joining the 10 that made their debut last week.
The smart move may be to avoid buying this "Developer's Choice" pack. The odds are not increased to an extent that makes it better than going with three regular packs. It does provide the opportunity to pull one of the new cards, howeve...
