The season may be over but support for Diamond Dynasty mode in MLB The Show 16 continues. Today a new Chicago Cubs Champions Pack and missions tied to a trio of new flashback cards were added. Obtaining the three new flashbacks and completing statistical tasks will unlock Prime Matt Garza. Andrew Cashner (Rookie Flashback) needs to accrue 10 strikeouts, Marlon Byrd (Prime Flashback) must get 5 hits, and Darwin Barney (Prime Flashback) requires 10 fielding assists. With the ALCS and NLCS underway SCEA has rolled out two new Missions in MLB The Show 16's Diamond Dynasty mode. Owners of the Josh Donaldson and Andrew Miller Rookie Cards will have the new challenges unlocked in order to obtain their current Live Series Cards. Andrew Miller requires 6 wins (he was a starter as a rookie for Detroit). His Rookie Card can currently be purchased from the Marketplace for under 2,000 Stubs. The long-awaited debut of Edwin Diaz in MLB The Show 16 is finally here.
