This week's roster update for MLB The Show 17 features far more upgrades than downgrades, and a few relievers are the biggest winners of the week. Craig Kimbrel (+4 to 92) moves to Diamond status. The boost is credited primarily to his BB/9 rating which rose by 14 points. Kimbrel is 2-0 with 12 saves, .96 ERA, and stunning .43 WHIP. Third Diamond Dynasty Event is now open in MLB The Show 17
A new online Event within Diamond Dynasty is now underway in MLB The Show 17. The "Advantage: Hitters" Event restricts teams to rosters filled with only left-handed pitchers and right-handed hitters from their collection with the team Overall Rating capped at 90. Games will be three innings and with double-elimination before having to start anew. It's Friday and for MLB The Show 17 that means a new roster update and Diamond Dynasty content. This week there's the addition of a Program and Flashback card tied to Mother's Day. Compensation for server troubles soon to arrive in MLB The Show 17
One week after MLB The Show 17 released developer Sony San Diego promised compensation would be coming due to the severe problems being had with the game's servers. Over a month later an apology in the form of compensation has finally arrived. The company will be providing all accounts that have played the game 10 Standard Packs and 11,000 Stubs. Details on fourth patch for MLB The Show 17
Six weeks to the day after release and MLB The Show 17 has received its fourth patch. Online and server related issues are still plaguing it but developers continue to drill down on improving other areas of the game. Earlier updates to MLB 17 delivered some improvements to gameplay, miscellaneous adjustments, plus a few online and uniform fixes. New player Program has been added to MLB 17 Diamond Dynasty
The third player Program rolled out today in MLB The Show 17 Diamond Dynasty. Doug Drabek joins Chipper Jones and Chris Archer with their own dedicated Program requiring set goals of wins, statistical achievements, and player collections to be to be reached. Program card packs, XP and tickets are earned by completing each step along the way.
