In a shocking development today UFC parent Zuffa has agreed in principle to purchase struggling rival MMA promotion Strikeforce. The official announcement is expected to come on Monday. Strikeforce represented the main branding for the game, the majority of the roster was made up of fighters from the promotion, and the television broadcasts acted as the main marketing opportunity. ...

The fighter announcements continue to roll out for EA Sports MMA and if the rumor of a September release holds true than these fighter reveals will likely be commonplace over the coming months.
