New on DVD: Week of July 12
This might be one of the worst and most boring weeks for movie releases. Nothing really stands out as a 'must-buy'. I did have the misfortune of seeing The Bounty Hunter, and many critics would agree with me when I say this is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Second ‘Machete’ Trailer
The second trailer for Robert Rodriguez's action flick Machete has been released. In the latest trailer we see a ton more action and get a good glimpse at the cast member. The cast is loaded with some well known actors. Not to mention there is some eye candy in Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez. If you missed the first trailer, you can find it here. More Additions To ‘Harold & Kumar’ Cast
A few months back, it was announced that a third 'Harold & Kumar' flick was in the works. Before today we know that John Cho, Kal Penn, and Niel Patrick Harris would make their returns for the film. And today, New Line released the names of latest cast additions. Mike Judge Working On New ‘Beavis & Butt-Head’ Episodes
Fans of Beavis & Butt-Head rejoice! REVIEWnivers.com is reporting that Beavis & Butt-Head creator Mike Judge is working on 30 new episodes. The source conceded that plans for actual broadcast are not yet cemented, or even a given, but confirmed that the King of the Hill/Office Space/Idiocracy maestro is definitely in the midst of writing new B and B material with the hopes of a full-throttle return. New on DVD: Week of July 5
There isn't much releasing this week. The movie that really stands out is Brooklyn's Finest. The drama received mixed reviews and scored only a 43% 'Fresh Rating' on Rottentomatoes.com. Although the film was somewhat cliche and predictable, I really enjoyed it. The cast is loaded with plenty of big names as well. ‘Let Me In’ Trailer
It seems like vampires are bigger than ever thanks in part to the 'Twilight' films and True Blood. Hollywood will be making even more room with the upcoming release of Let Me In. Cloverfield director Matt Reeves brings us the American remake of the 2008 Swedish film Let the Right One In. Adam Brody Joins ‘Scream 4′ Cast
According to The Hollywood Reporter‘s Heat Vision blog, Adam Brody, Marley Shelton and Erik Knudsen have joined the cast of Scream 4. Brody will play a cop recently graduated from college who was raised on the “CSI” TV series. Shelton will play a deputy who knew Campbell’s character in high school.
