The '24 Frames' Blog is reporting that Dimension Films is in talks with Fernley Phillips to write the remake of An American Werewolf in London. Phillips was the writer of 2007's The Number 23. Maybe it's this nostalgia that's prompting Dimension Films to develop a reboot of "An American Werewolf in London." The Weinstein Co. division bought remake rights to the 1981 classic, which starred Naughton as a U.S. tourist who believes he's being hunted by a werewolf, from Landis in June 2009. ...

Pajiba is reporting that Quentin Tarantino is being rumored to direct and co-write The Shadow. However, the person that is now attached to the project is none other than Quentin Tarantino, who is also attached as co-writer. This comes as big a surprise to me as anyone, because I don’t know where Sam Raimi and Quentin Tarantino’s movie pathways have crossed, and so far as I know, The Shadow has never been mentioned among the 27 dozen projects that Tarantino has always been obs...

Last October we reported some details on the upcoming 30 Days of Night: Dark Days. The film is a sequel to 2007's vampire film 30 Days of Night. The film would feature a new cast, and it would also be released straight to DVD. The first trailer has been released for the film and gives an idea of what direction the story is headed. From what I can tell the story is completely different. Rather than the main characters trying to survive and being hunted by vampires, they are now the hunters. ...
