After two dreadful weeks of releases, things pick up a little this week. While the week may not be spectacular, one movie stands out as one you should surely see. Harry Brown stars Michael Caine as a fed up citizen who becomes a vigilante. Think a British Gran Torino sans the blatant racism. It did pretty well in reviews and scored a 67% 'Fresh Rating' on Rottentomatoes.com. At the very least give it a rent. Here is the full release schedule broken up by standard DVD and Blu-ray: (more&...

For those who enjoyed the remake of the Karate Kid, the news of a sequel should excite you. Once again it's another slow week for releases. Lost fans can look forward to the series coming out on Blu-ray. On the movie side the only movie that I saw on the list was The Back-up Plan. I'd pass on this romantic comedy since it's just like every other one that is out there. Not to mention it only received a 20% on Rottentomatoes.com. Here is the full release schedule broken up by standard DVD and Blu-ray: (more…)...

Wired.com is reporting that Neville Page is working on JJ Abrams‘ upcoming Super 8. Some might be asking who Neville Page is and what does he do? His credits also include Garfield, Fantastic Four, Superman Returns, The Chronicles of Narnia, Watchmen, Avatar, Piranha 3D, Green Lantern, and Tron: Legacy. Pretty impressive to say the least. You can view the ...
