Michael Bay To Produce ‘Ninja Turtles’ Reboot
Deadline is reporting that Paramount and Nickelodeon have brought on Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form to produce the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' reboot.
TMNT, a co-production between Paramount and Nickelodeon, is an outgrowth of the $60 million acquisition made by Nick last October for global rights to the entire Turtles franchise.

New on DVD: Week of May 31
After a couple of slow weeks for releases, we finally have a decent week. The two big names hitting stores are Alice in Wonderland, and The Wolfman. Neither scored particularly well in reviews even though both were released with quite a bit of hype. Clint Eastwood fans can look forward to two of his collections releasing in hi-def as well. James McAvoy Joins ‘X-Men: First Class’
According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor James McAvoy (Wanted) has signed on to play 'Professor X' in the upcoming X-Men: First Class. McAvoy will portray the young Charles Xavier in the film, which will follow the early days of 'Professor X' and 'Magneto'.

Japanese ‘Inception’ Trailer
A new trailer for Christopher Nolan's Inception has hit the net. Actor Ken Watanabe, who plays Saito in the film, was interviewed on Japanese TV when the trailer debuted. The trailer features some new footage and is in English, even though the subtitles are in Japanese. Inception will hit theaters July 16th.

There isn't much releasing this week. The best movie hitting stores is probably The Road. I had the chance to see this and thought it was very good. New ‘Scream 4′ Casting Details
The Hollywood Reporter has some new details concerning the cast of Scream 4. Apparently, Dimension is in negotiations with Lake Bell, Ashley Greene, Hayden Panettiere and Rory Culkin.
If deals are concluded, Greene would play Campbell’s cousin Jill, essentially the heroine of the movie, and Panettiere would play her best friend, a nerdy film geek. Culkin would play a potential love interest for Jill.
